世界各都市で広まるZouk。素敵なダンスを東京でも広げよう！

とそれぞれのインストラクター・イベンターたちが集約した共同体がTOKYO ZOUK SCENEです。

加盟グループ：

​ZoukBeleza, RioZoukTokyo, Que Sorte!!, Paraiso de Zouk, ZoukArtDanceCompany, Latin Colaboracion, Lambateria, Zouk Utage　それぞれのインストラクター・オーガナイザーが直接、当サイトで発信します。



Zoukとは？

フランス語で「パーティ」「フェスティバル」という意味。

元々はカリブ海のフランス領、マルティニークやグアドループなどで発祥した音楽のジャンル名だった。レゲエのようなゆったりとした心地よいビートから、80年代よりフランス等で人気を呼んだ。

現在、Zoukは新しいダンスジャンルとして2004年ぐらいから世界中で大ブレイクしている。

​踊り方は90年代ブラジル人アーティストがパリで大流行させた「ランバダ」がルーツ。

東京では実は90年代からランバダ愛好家が踊り続けており、その流れから2002年前に最初のZoukシーンが産まれた。

それからの10年ほどで瞬く間に世界の各都市で広まった。

音楽も非常にインターナショナルだ。カリブ音楽だけでなく、西アフリカ（Cabo Verdeなど）や中近東、R&BやHIP HOP、更にはボリウッドミュージックやJPOPまで実に多様な世界から共通性を見いだしてZOUKにピッタリな曲を世界有数のDJがひっぱり出してくる。もはやこれはラテン音楽の枠にとどまらない。

そして2012年、2013年9月には世界150都市の団体が同じ日に同じ曲で同じ振付けのパフォーマンスをいきなり始めるというFLASH MOBを行った。世界一多くの人数で行うFLASH MOBということでギネス認定にチャレンジしたイベントだ。2013年には東京も参加。大阪も２年続けて参加している。

海外で出会う見知らぬZoukダンサーともこの振付けでコミュニケーションができるということも面白い現象。

現在もなお進化を続けているZOUK。ナチュラルさと時にはハードさを合わせ持つZOUK。これからも目が離せない新感覚のダンスである。

TOKYO ZOUK SCENE Is a community of zouk teachers and event organizers.​

Organized to make this beautiful dance more popular in Tokyo. 



Zouk is one of latin Partner dance which spread in many cities in the world on this 10 years.
We have also Zouk in Tokyo, dancing a lot of people and nice places!

Zouk Means "party" or "festival" in French.
Originally it is a name of music genre from French Caribbean, such as Guadeloupe and Martinique.
The beat like reggae, easy to swing, became popular in France 80s.

Currently, Zouk is a big hit around the world as a new dance.
The dance style came from what Brazilian artists brought "Lambada" to Paris in 90's.This is the roots.
Now there are plenty of zouk masters in the world, and have various styles!

In Tokyo, there are some of lambada lovers continue dancing from 90's.
First zouk scene was born around 2002 from them.
Soon, was widespread in cities around the world in the blink of an eye 10 years from it.
Music is also very international.
Talented DJ finds many kind of music in the world, and put a little flavor of Zouk.
The music from Caribbean, Middle east,West Africa(Cabo Verde), HIP HOP, R & B, Bollywood… many. No longer the music to be Latin.

People did ZOUK FLASH MOB in 150 cities around the world, start suddenly the performance in the street or park,1 choreography,1 song, 1 day in September 2012,2013.
The event was for attempt to set a record for the Guinness Book. As the FLASH MOB with the highest number of people in the world.

The project is also to show that dance can overcome all borders of nationality, ethnicity, religion and culture.
Successfully run in Toyo and Osaka on 2013.(Osaka has done on 2012 too)
